I called Chicago Properties and Sam Shaffer himself picked up. I spoke with him and candidly asked his opinion to which he responded in an honest professional manner. We agreed to meet soon after within 24 hours which impressed me. I "interviewed" Sam and showed him my property for sale, and was immediately sure I had made a GREAT choice. Sam is sharp, pleasant, highly knowledgeable and honest. I was also floored by the efficiency of his team! He is not a one-man shop, but instead is the captain of a FANTASTIC team that knows how to work together efficiently! I have to give a shout out to Anne, Jeanne, and all of Sam's team; they each have their expertise and dedicated position in the company. They are synchronous and highly effective. I followed Sam's advice recommendations for preferred stagers and they were reasonable and made the place photogenic and attractive. Sam was also able to connect me to a preferred real estate attorney, who was also reasonable and HIGHLY effective. Chicago Properties is the COMPLETE package and I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell without the headaches of searching for answers or solutions to the process. They handled it ALL for me and best of all, were able to turn my place around and actually close it in about 45 days! If you seek what I would describe as a "Concierge Service" from a great realtor, definitely give them a call, you will NOT regret it.

We have worked with Sam for the past 11 years. He was our realtor when we bought our first condo in Chicago and we subsequently trusted him to represent us in three other transactions. In our latest engagement together, he helped us sell our townhouse in Lincoln Park. We relocated to NC and the place needed some work pre and post offer. His team was there to help us all the way. When a contractor needed to access the property, they were there, when we needed a contact for someone to do a repair, they had the perfect contact. Being an out of town seller is complicated enough and prone to massive headaches. Sam and team were critical in removing a lot of those headaches from us.

Sam is the best! We switched to Sam right before Thanksgiving and were thinking it'll take at least 3-4 months to get our condo sold. Sam and his team worked diligently to get many showings for us from November to December, the toughest winter months in Chicago and around the holidays. His team kept us in the loop through the process and gave us feedback from each showing (they were always there in person to do the showing too!).
